Miles Davis & John Coltrane and Bill Evans «Blue in green»
El álbum Kind of Blue, estuvo basado en formas modales, que permitían amplias posibilidades de tránsito por escalas a partir de alguna nota predeterminada en lugar de la secuencia lineal de acordes que desarrollaba el jazz hasta entonces, contrastando con sus primeros materiales caracterizados por un estilo hard bop e improvisaciones.
La grabación tuvo lugar en el 30th Street Studio de la Columbia Records en la ciudad de Nueva York en apenas diez horas repartidas en dos días, el 2 de marzo y el 22 de abril de 1959. Acompañaron a Miles el legendario saxofonista John Coltrane y el contrabajista Paul Chambers, el equipo se completó con Julian «Cannonball» Adderley, en el saxofón alto, Jimmy Cobb a la batería y Bill Evans al piano. Su lanzamiento se produjo el 17 de agosto por el sello discográfico Columbia en formato mono y estéreo.

Recordando a ‘Triana’ – 19-05-24
Se gestó en el grupo Tabaca, cuando en 1973 Carlos Attias se aleja de esta banda, entrando Jesús de la Rosa Luque en su lugar, como bajista y cantante. Finalmente Juan José Palacios , Tele se une a Eduardo Rodríguez y de la Rosa a la batería, sentando las bases de Triana. La primera formación de Triana contaba además con Dolores Montoya y Manuel Molina, que luego formaron el dúo, Lole y Manuel. Coincidió con el final del franquismo, y nunca faltaron a los primeros conciertos de la época. Triana fue uno de los mejores grupos de rock del mundo, por su fusión fantástica de flamenco con rock psicodélico y rock progresivo. Su último trabajo fue en 1983, que coincidió con la muerte de Jesús de la Rosa, y la disolución del grupo.
